Fourth of July Cupcakes

Okay, for real...this was easy. Just icing and candy and cupcakes...and then: assemble. Took probably an hour to ice and decorate and assemble. Maybe an hour to bake all the cupcakes.

This picture (above) displays the whole creation: the Ahmellican flag (when I was a little girl, I didn't say "American" I said "Ahmellican"...I know...brilliant). 48 Large cupcakes and 48 small cupcakes. FUN!

Here is a close up of the "stars" portion: mmmm....jelly beans and gumdrops and good and plenties....mmmmm

The "Angled" Shot. You can kind get a feel for the size of this creation.

It was fun. And, if you have kids who are actually old enough to really participate, this is a great thing to do with them...it's super easy.
