JHL Larkin 7 Months

Here's Jack Jack!

This is a bit late (since he's almost 8 mos). Oh well!

But here are some photos of our youngest boy! He was weighed and measured about a month ago and came in at 29 inches long and 18.2 lbs (he's a bit bigger now...you know how piddoes grow). He's tons of fun for the whole family--yes, I think Quinn would agree! He's a ball of energy (no joke) and loves "talkin'".

He's really coming into his own personality almost every day. We are so blessed.

We hope you enjoy the pictures!

Christmas 2008

Here are some photos from Christmas this past year...my favorite is the cover picture...It doesn't matter how old one is...they can always be reduced to two year of age when dealing with a two year old.

JHL Larkin 5 & 6 Months

Well...

Here is Jack Jack at six months! The first picture, below, is him at 5 months...apparently what people tell you about taking pictures of any child that isn't the first child is true...we've really slacked!

Don't you worry though...I've been diligent for month 7 (already have 114 pics! nice!).

Jack Jack is big and happy! He yells, talks, and does his raspberries...he is just a lump of joy. 6 months seems to be the key month in development, it's when they, as I like to say, walk through the "CUTE" door...and Jack is that: SUPER CUTE!

He's eating like a champ (not spitting it out but swallowing ALL OF IT). He's also moving around...and, yes, I do mean on the ground. He's not crawling, per se, but he's getting places by rolling or pushing himself along with his toes. He attempts to get up on all fours...I tend to think crawling is close at hand...ugh. With that said, it makes sense why he LOVES being on the ground...he likes his excer-saucer, but LOVES his gymni and toys on the ground. If you put him down and turn away and then look back, he'll be out of view, playing with something...or stuck under the living room table. He's sturdy and strong. He loves standing and "dancing"--he dances right before you give him his first bite of food, it's pretty darn cute!

And, he LOVES his big brother, Quinn. Every look from Jack to Quinn is the definition of love. Quinn is the funniest, coolest, fastest, ablest (etc) person he knows...

Quinn is still an awesome big brother...though, he's starting to realize that Jack can and will play with his toys. So, often I hear, "NO! MY TOY, JACK!" come from the living room and then, on cue, I hear Jack cry. Now, I know how to handle it and it's by not making a big deal about it...I, as a baby, used to get my big brother in trouble by just crying...I'm trying not to encourage Jack to learn this...They'll learn to share or to fight...which ever comes first and probably both.

Well, our family is well and is happy. We are, in this chaotic time, very stable and on very solid ground.

Please enjoy the pictures below!

All our love,

Lauren, Daniel, Quinn, and Jack Jack.
